The Specialist will foster professional administrative relationships with new advisor or emerging advisors, becoming familiar with their respective businesses, determining their specific administrative needs, and providing Scottrade solutions to those needs.

Responsibilities:

* Perform superior customer service on master and sub-accounts when issues arise ? reviewing all master and sub-account activity and working through any issues that Advisors have experienced in an effort to resolve any current problems and prevent future occurrence. Work with the compliance department for both resolution and prevention of complaints and problems.
* Assist Advisors when Scottrade is experiencing Internet and/or system problems.
* Execute individual and block trades for Advisor master accounts, as needed.
* Provide assistance to Advisors in learning to use the Advisor Services platform, and in navigating advisor.scottrade.com.
* Contact Advisor clients and answer client administrative requests as needed.
* Review all account opening paperwork for accuracy, and work with the appropriate operations departments to process paperwork accordingly.
* Provide transition support for Advisors interested in enrolling in Scottrade Advisor Services, to include preparing paperwork and contacting clients of established advisors as well as providing guidance to new advisors and breakaway brokers.
* Assist Advisors with implementation of various trading strategies, including manually entering trades and providing research support on all investment products offered through Scottrade.
* Assist Advisors with trade allocation reconciliation.
* Establish and support accounts for alternative institutional clients, including hedge funds, limited partnerships, banks, trust companies, pension plans, etc..

Experience:

* Current Series 7 and Series 63 license; Clean U4 securities record.
* 5+ years of discount brokerage experience with established proficiency as a stockbroker in a majority of areas of the discount industry.
* 3+ years customer service experience.

Education:

* Bachelor?s degree in Finance or Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred..

Responsibilities:

? Establish and maintain new accounts
? Provide excellent customer service in a professional manner for all aspects of account maintenance: account activity, pull history when necessary, etc.
? Execute trades for customers requested via walk-in and over the phone
? Provide stock quotes and news to customers
? Accept customer checks and stock certificates
? Follow up on pending ACATS transfers
? Assist internet customers when the internet is down and answer any technical questions about Scottrade.com; educate customers as to the workings of the market
? Work with margin accounts, give buying power, and balances
? Keep up with reorg items, margin delinquencies, work short option report
? Follow up on leads from potential customers

Experience:

? 3 years customer service experience required
? 1 to 3 years Online brokerage industry experience preferred

Education:

? A current Series 7 and Series 63 license
? Clean U4 securities record
? Bachelor degree in Finance or Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
