Description:
Scottrade, Inc. has an opening for a Sr. Privacy Analyst in St. Louis, MO. The main purpose of this position is to assist the Privacy team in the formation and execution of Scottrade’s Privacy program. The incumbent’s responsibilities will include leading the Enterprise Records Management Program for the firm, Training Records Management Coordinators, and enforcing Scottrade’s Privacy and Enterprise Records Management Policies. Incumbent will also work with Privacy Team to deliver Customer Privacy Awareness Program. Incumbent will also be responsible for understanding applicable Financial Services Industry Privacy regulations and procedures, and will help lead internal efforts to ensure Scottrade is complicit with Privacy laws and regulations. Incumbent will also be responsible for defining business and privacy requirements around all projects across Scottrade.
Responsibilities:
* Lead Enterprise Records Management Program, including Records Destruction.
* Provide Training for Departmental Records Management Coordinators based on Records Management Policy and Procedures.
* Deliver Customer Privacy Awareness Program.
* In-Depth understanding of Privacy regulations and laws and how they apply to Scottrade.
* Drive initiatives and projects to help ensure Scottrade is complicit with applicable Privacy Regulations and laws.
* Defining business and privacy requirements around all projects across Scottrade.
* Responsible for overall ownership of the Scottrade Customer Privacy Statement, including content, methodology and delivery.
* Responsible for ownership of overall Scottrade internal Privacy Policy and procedures.
* Responsible for ensuring Scottrade complies with Privacy Policy and industry laws and regulations.
* Responsible for overall ownership of the Scottrade FACTA Policy, including leading business efforts in the periodic review and risk assessment associated with the FACTA Policy.
Experience:
* 5+ years work experience in an Enterprise Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Information Technology or Operations department.
* 4+ years Financial Services industry experience.
* 4+ years Privacy, Compliance or related experience.
* 4+ years experience leading projects preferred.
* A firm understanding of Privacy laws and regulations impacting Financial Services/Broker Dealer/Banking Industry.
* A firm understanding of Records Management and Records Privacy.
* An understanding of Enterprise Content Management tools and techniques and the Privacy implications associated with them.
* Ability to build project plans, translate directives, and present project deliverables to the Manager of Privacy and Data Governance, Directors, and Executives.
Education:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, MIS, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
